Haryana/Hisar:- The Darzi Rajput Samaj Vikas Samiti (Development Committee), Palwal, organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new rooms, an event attended by Haryana's Sports Minister, Gaurav Gautam, as the Chief Guest. Satbir Verma also marked his presence at the event, presiding over the program as its President.
During the ceremony, speaking on behalf of the community, Khemchand Daroga presented a request to the Minister for a grant to construct a hall within the *Dharamshala* (community rest house) premises. On this occasion, Gaurav Gautam and Satbir Verma were felicitated by the community. Chief Guest Gaurav Gautam expressed his gratitude for the support extended by the Darzi community to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and gave an assurance that he would ensure the completion of the hall construction project at the *Dharamshala*.
Addressing the gathering, Satbir Verma remarked that the community is becoming increasingly organized, which is a positive sign. He noted that it is a matter of great pride for the community that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended the Sant Namdev Jayanti celebrations for the second consecutive time and sanctioned grants worth crores of rupees for the community's welfare.
Furthermore, the assurance regarding the naming of a major government institution after Sant Namdev—as well as the promise to establish a 'Sewing and Embroidery Arts Board' modeled after the one in Madhya Pradesh—serves as a testament to the respect accorded to the community.
He stated that the Chhippi, Darzi, Rohilla, and Tank communities played a pivotal role in helping the BJP form the government. To ensure the community's continued progress, it is essential to strengthen the organizational structure, promote women's education, and steer clear of substance abuse and social evils. He emphasized that it is the duty of every individual within the community to contribute to its service—physically, mentally, and financially.
Satbir Verma further informed the gathering that a national-level conference would soon be organized in Delhi, to which Chief Ministers from various states, as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would be invited.
On this occasion, thousands of community members were present, including Dayanand Rohilla, Suresh Rohilla, Vikas Rohilla, Rajendra Rohilla, Prem Prakash Rohilla, Sunil Verma, Satbir Chhokar, Bhup Singh Palwal, Omprakash Sampla, Ramniwas Sonipat, Krishna Rohilla, Dalip Panwar Faridabad, Suresh Narnaul, and Lakshmi.
