Chandigarh, August 30:- The Bharatiya Janata Party has received a major political boost in the Lehragaga (Satrana constituency) area of ??Punjab. People belonging to different sections of the area expressed their faith in the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini and the policies of the BJP and took the membership of the party.
More than three dozen people belonging to Patiala, Mansa, Sangrur, Patran and Lehragaga areas have joined the BJP. Apart from workers associated with the Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal, these included social workers, businessmen, farmers, contractors, ex-servicemen and people belonging to other sections of the society.
Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the BJP family is continuously growing and the people from different sections joining the party is a proof of the people's growing faith in the development works being done in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and the people's welfare policies of BJP.
He said that the people have become disillusioned with the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. The expectations with which the people of Punjab had handed over power to Aam Aadmi Party have not been fulfilled. That is why now people are looking at BJP with hopeful eyes as an alternative.
The Chief Minister said that BJP is not a party that goes to the people only during elections, but is a party that continuously works for public service and development.
The Chief Minister said that the joining of people from different sections with BJP in Lehragaga will further strengthen the party in the coming times. Welcoming the new members, he said that every worker gets respect and an opportunity to move forward in BJP.
He said that the politics of Aam Aadmi Party is now moving away from the issues of the people, while the BJP is moving forward with the agenda of development, good governance and public service. The people joining BJP in Lehragaga is an indication of this changing political environment.
On this occasion, those who joined BJP included Olympic awardee Manpreet Kaur, Nirmal Singh associated with the farmers' union, farmer Rampal Labal, businessman Deepak Garg, Amitpal Singh and Sukhjit Sharma, social workers Dauli Ram, Tara Singh, Sushil Kumar and Mandeep Singh, Balwinder Singh associated with the property business and contractor Sukhwinder Singh, along with people from various fields.
Apart from this, many leaders and workers associated with Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal also took membership of BJP.
On this occasion, BJP State General Secretary Mr. Ranjha Bakshi, OBC Morcha BJP Mr. Gianchand Saini, BJP Sangrur Vice President Mr. Baljit Singh, BJP Patiala District President Kajal, BJP Mansa Social Media Incharge Lucky Sharma, SC Morcha District President Mr. Shivpal, Kotra Mandal President Mr. Sukhnind Singh and BJP senior leader Mr. Balwinder Singh along with other office bearers and workers were present.
