Chandigarh, June 6:- Haryana Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that Yoga is not a limited practice to be done on a special day or date, but we have to make it an integral part of our daily lifestyle. When every citizen implements it in his life, only then can the foundation of a healthy society be laid.
Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa was addressing as the chief guest at a one-day Yoga training program organized at the hockey ground of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium in Sirsa on Saturday under the joint collaboration of Women and Child Development, AYUSH Department and District Administration.
He said that in the modern era, due to busyness and stress, people are facing many diseases. In such a situation, Yoga is the only tool that keeps a person completely healthy on both physical and mental levels. Yoga not only makes our body energetic and flexible, but it also provides peace to our mind. He said that if the citizens of the country are physically and mentally strong, then our country will also move forward on the path of progress and remain healthy.
He said that today Yoga has got a new identity at the global level due to the visionary thinking and continuous efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today the whole world is adopting this invaluable gift of Indian culture. The acceptance of Yoga at the international level is a proof of how important it is for the well-being of entire humanity.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, yoga practice programs are being organized on a large scale in all the districts of the state. The aim of the government is to take yoga to the masses. He appealed to the citizens to not only become a part of it and join yoga themselves, but also inspire the people around them, friends and family members to do yoga.
