Hansi: Another piece of great news has emerged for the residents of the Hansi assembly constituency. Through the efforts of MLA Vinod Bhayana, approval has been granted for halts of two important express trains at Hansi Junction. This decision brings significant relief and convenience to thousands of rail passengers in the region.
MLA Vinod Bhayana shared that, at his request, Honorable Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved a thrice-weekly halt at Hansi Junction for Train No. 14717 (Haridwar–Bikaner) and Train No. 14718 (Bikaner–Haridwar) Express. Additionally, a weekly halt has been approved for Train No. 14619 (Agartala–Firozpur) and Train No. 14620 (Firozpur–Agartala) Express.
The MLA noted that local residents had long been demanding halts for these trains—a request now accepted by the Central Government and the Ministry of Railways. This decision will directly benefit thousands of passengers from Hansi and the surrounding rural and urban areas. In particular, pilgrims traveling to Haridwar will now enjoy direct travel convenience, while journeys for passengers heading towards Punjab and the Northeastern states will also become easier.
MLA Vinod Bhayana stated that this achievement would further strengthen Hansi's rail connectivity and boost trade, tourism, and religious travel. He remarked that Hansi is steadily progressing, and the expansion of rail facilities remains a priority for the region.
The MLA expressed his gratitude to Union Minister Manohar Lal, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for this significant achievement. He noted that the development of Hansi is gaining new momentum through the cooperation of the Central and State governments.
The MLA also mentioned that he has placed a request before the Railway Minister regarding the Gorakhpur–Bhatinda and Bhatinda–Gorakhpur rail service, and the Minister has assured a positive and welcome outcome soon. He stated that efforts to foster the development of Hansi and expand public amenities would continue unabated, and that every possible effort would be made in the future to fulfill other pending railway-related demands of the region. Local residents and rail passengers have also welcomed this decision, describing it as a historic achievement for Hansi.
