Derabassi, July 1:- During the live broadcast organized at the Community Center of Derabassi on the occasion of the launch of the Chief Minister Mother-Daughter Satkar Yojana launched by the Punjab Government, a large number of mothers, daughters and local residents joined MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa and warmly welcomed this public welfare initiative.
On this occasion, the dignitaries present appreciated this important social security initiative of the Punjab Government and said that this scheme is an important step towards further strengthening the respect, empowerment and economic security of women.
On this occasion, MLA Randhawa sincerely thanked the entire congregation and appealed that everyone should work together to provide maximum benefits of the public welfare schemes of the Punjab Government to the eligible beneficiaries.
He informed that till last evening, 30,036 women have been successfully registered under the Chief Minister's Mother-Daughter Respect Scheme in Derabassi assembly constituency, which shows the trust and enthusiasm of the people towards the scheme. He said that this scheme will also strengthen our mothers and sisters financially.
