Chandigarh/Mohali:- LIC donated DEXA scans (for bone mineral density testing) and endoscopy/laparoscopy sets worth ?1.25 crore to the Regional Spinal Injuries Center, Mohali. This state-of-the-art medical equipment was donated by the Golden Jubilee Foundation of LIC of India.
These equipment will enable early detection of osteoporosis and advanced treatment of kidney, prostate, and other urological problems. The equipment was inaugurated by Satpal Bhanu, Managing Director, LIC of India. Dr. Raj Bahadur, Project Director, Regional Spinal Injuries Center, welcomed the chief guest.
Sonam Chhewang, Senior Divisional Manager, LIC, Chandigarh Division, was also present. Prakash Chauhan (Marketing Manager), Padam Singh, Shashi Kant, Kamal Batra, and Manoj Chawla also attended the event. Dr. Raj Bahadur said that this contribution will further strengthen health services.
