Haryana/Hisar:- The BJP staged a massive protest in Rohtak on Wednesday to oppose the Congress party's actions of spreading anarchy in the country and compromising security by demonstrating outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. Thousands of workers, led by BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta, gathered at Subhash Chowk and marched on foot via Ambedkar Chowk to the Congress state office. Throughout the march, workers raised slogans such as "Down with the Congress Party," "Down with Rahul Gandhi," "The devious politics of anarchy and confrontation will not be tolerated," "Shame on Rahul Gandhi for defaming India abroad," and "India will not tolerate the insult to the nation by Rahul Gandhi abroad." They reached the Congress state office shouting thunderous slogans like "Rahul Gandhi—head of the 'Congress factory of lies'—have some shame," "Stop holding democracy hostage," "Congress's hand is with anarchy," and "Insulting democracy is Congress's true identity." BJP leaders staged a vigorous protest outside the Congress office, while State President Dr. Archana Gupta launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party.
BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta stated that the protest by Rahul Gandhi and the Congress outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence was an attempt to challenge democratic norms and the country's security apparatus. She described the Congress party's protest at the Prime Minister's residence as unfortunate and condemnable. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, the State President noted that when the issue regarding the NEET exam arose, he had gone abroad for a 24-day vacation. He returned abruptly only after Parliament was in session, having enjoyed the cool breeze of foreign lands. She remarked that instead of engaging in constructive discussion, Rahul Gandhi was staging a surreptitious protest at the Prime Minister's residence, which is condemnable. Dr. Archana Gupta asserted that the Congress has no moral right to speak on the issue of paper leaks. Paper leaks occurred several times prior to 2014, yet the Congress government took no action. In contrast, as soon as the recent paper leak issue came to light, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took immediate action and ensured the examinations were conducted properly. Students are happy and satisfied with the Modi government's policies and are pursuing their studies after securing admission.
Describing Rahul Gandhi as a "seasonal politician," the State President remarked that he appears active only when a political opportunity arises. She stated that Rahul Gandhi is not one to put in hard work; he courts arrest only to return home within two hours after enjoying tea and samosas. She alleged that Rahul Gandhi seeks to mislead naive youth and use them as a front for his politics, but today's youth are aware and stand in support of the politics of development, transparency, and good governance.
Reminding Rahul Gandhi and Congress leaders of the 1975 Emergency, Dr. Archana Gupta stated that it was the Congress party that committed the greatest assault on democracy. She recalled how Rahul Gandhi's grandmother, Indira Gandhi, imprisoned opposition leaders, stripped away civil rights, and trampled upon the spirit of the Constitution. She suggested that Rahul Gandhi should reflect on history.
The BJP State President noted that Rahul Gandhi was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and inherited everything without having to struggle. This, she said, is why he fails to respect the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister. She stated that while the BJP is ready to discuss every issue in Parliament, the Congress prefers creating a ruckus over engaging in facts and logic. She pointed out that Parliament runs on taxpayers' money and enacts laws for the public good, yet the Congress repeatedly disrupts proceedings and attempts to stall issues of national interest.
Dr. Archana Gupta stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is advancing on the path of development, a progress that the Congress dislikes. She asserted that the people of the country have fully understood the politics of the Congress, and the entire nation is witnessing the party's actions. He stated that in the near future, the Congress would lose even its remaining 99 seats and face a complete wipeout.
After laying siege to the Congress office in Rohtak, party workers staged a sit-in there under the leadership of BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta. The protest was addressed by several leaders, including former Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, State General Secretary Surendra Poonia, State Vice President Satish Nandal, State Treasurer Ajay Bansal, and State Secretary Renu Dabla.
Also present on the occasion were BJP State Media Co-in-charge Shamsher Singh Kharak, State Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Vipin Lohia, Rohtak District In-charge Advocate Vijaypal, Rohtak District President Ranveer Dhaka, Jhajjar District President Vikas Valmiki, Jind District President Tejendra Dhull, Gohana District President Bijendra Malik, Rewari District President Vandana Popli, BJP leaders Nagendra Sharma, Narendra Vats, Dr. Dinesh Ghilaur, and Mukesh Gaur, along with other district presidents, Zila Parishad Chairperson Manju Hooda, District General Secretary Nitin Jain.
