Haroli/Una, June 24 (Rajveer Chopra): Residents are expressing dissatisfaction over the lack of basic amenities at the new Government Ayurvedic Health Centre (Arogya Ayush Mandir) in Nangal Kalan (Tahliwal), located near the Tahliwal Nagar Panchayat office.
Locals state that a wall of the building collapsed in 2023, yet no permanent solution has been implemented even after a long period.
According to reports, the building was constructed by the Public Works Department (PWD).
The concerned department has been informed in writing about the issues facing the building. Additionally, the Secretary of the Tahliwal Nagar Panchayat and officials from the health centre have been apprised of the situation.
Locals pointed out that there is no ramp at the main entrance, causing significant difficulty for elderly and differently-abled patients trying to access the centre. There have been instances where elderly individuals slipped and fell due to these inconveniences.
Residents also state that a separate room is needed to improve Panchakarma treatment facilities at the centre, ensuring patients receive proper care.
Area residents have urged the concerned departments to prioritize building repairs, ramp construction, and the provision of a Panchakarma room to ensure better healthcare facilities for patients.
