Jalandhar:- Gurdwara Tap Asthan Khurdpur President S. Sukhdev Singh, Secretary Master Paramjit Singh, Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Jalandhar President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh, Convener of the Cultural Wing Amolak Singh and Convener of the History Committee Charanji Lal Kanganiwal said that the annual memorial event in memory of Shaheed Bhai Balwant Singh and Shaheed Ranga Singh Khurdpur is being dedicated to the martyrdom centenary of the Babbar Akali movement this time.
A strong appeal has been made to all the Ghadri and Babbar Akali movement villages of the area to participate in this event and invitation letters are also being given by going to the villages of the area. The event management committee of Khurdpur town and the supporting Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee will present medals of honor to the respective towns. This event will be held on March 16, 2026 at 11 am at Gurdwara Tap Asthan Khurdpur.
From this event, a strong appeal will be made to hold such events in other areas as well and to reach Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall on the occasion of the Ghadri Babas' first November Mela and make the Mela a success in every respect.
