Karnal, October 26: Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan listened to the 127th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat program in Alipur Khalsa village of the Gharaunda constituency today. Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan said that in his Mann Ki Baat program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the glory of Chhath Puja, the importance of Sanskrit, the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, the diversity of Indian coffee, and the bravery of indigenous dogs. He taught youth and citizens about social unity, culture, environment, and patriotism. The Assembly Speaker said that Chhath holds special significance in Indian culture.
The Prime Minister also spoke about this significant festival, calling it a symbol of social unity, environmental sensitivity, and the profound value of culture. Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan said that the Prime Minister, while highlighting the importance of Sanskrit, said that it was not only the language of religious texts but also served as a language of communication. During the period of slavery and for a few years after independence, people's interest in Sanskrit declined, but today its relevance is increasing.

The Prime Minister mentioned the Run for Unity to be organised on the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31st. Referring to the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, he called it essential for maintaining natural balance.
