Hisar:- Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) former candidate from Hisar Assembly and district spokesperson Ravi Ahuja, while expressing deep concern over the continuously increasing criminal incidents in the city, has raised questions on the functioning of the BJP government and the police administration. He alleged that despite incidents like murder, shootings and extortion from traders in the city, the non-arrest of criminals has created an atmosphere of fear among the general public and trader community.
Ravi Ahuja said that recently, in cases like the broad daylight murder of a dairy operator in Gali No. 6, Surya Nagar, firing on a 12-year-old girl, a woman and a youth in Model Town, and crores of rupees of ransom demanded from property dealer Satish Jangra and Aman Shawl Firm owner of Cloth Market, the main accused have not been arrested till now. He said that this raises serious questions on the bureaucracy of the government and the functioning of the police.
He said that there is huge resentment among the trader community due to the continuously increasing extortion and criminal incidents in the city. There is no fear of police and government seen in the minds of criminals, while the BJP government and the MLA of Hisar are also silent on the rising crimes. This situation is an indication of complete collapse of law and order.
The JJP leader said that incidents like murder, ransom and loot are continuously increasing in the state, due to which the common citizen is feeling insecure. He alleged that the BJP government has proved to be a complete failure in maintaining law and order.
Ravi Ahuja demanded from the government to ensure early arrest of criminals involved in all cases and to strengthen law and order in the state. He warned that if the criminals are not arrested soon, then Jannayak Janata Party along with the general public will protest against the government.
