Patiala:- The victory of India and Pakistan in the 1971 war was celebrated as National Victory Day, like a national festival, at Scholar Field Public School, Patiala. On this occasion, Chief Trainer of First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission, Mr. Kaka Ram Verma and ASI Ram Saran of Traffic Education Cell, Punjab Police, formed 10 teams of APP CC cadets and conducted a mock drill to save precious lives and properties during wars, disasters or any other crisis.
The school's director, Mr. Surinder Singh Chadha and Mrs. Chadha informed the students and cadets about the work done by soldiers and civilians during the wars of 1962, 1965, 1971, and Kargil in 1999. Kaka Ram Verma Disaster Management Trainer said that in future natural, climatic and human disasters, during wars, disaster management first aid CPR, use of fire safety cylinders and civil defense training exercises will prove to be useful for safety and rescue.
Shri SS Sodhi, while expressing his gratitude, encouraged the students to maintain their health, fitness, conduct, humility, tolerance, patience, peace and patriotism, habits, feelings and environment. All the students, while expressing their gratitude, pledged that they will always follow the rules, laws, principles and duties of health safety of their country, society, home, family, environment and will continue to strive as helpful angels of the victims.
