Hoshiarpur- International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at the district level as well as in sub-divisions (Dasuha, Mukerian and Garhshankar) under the leadership of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajinder Aggarwal.
On this occasion, Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Suresh Kumar Goyal, while addressing the members present, said that yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual discipline, which originated in India. It is a means of maintaining balance in our life. He said that we should include yoga in our daily life and also protect the environment by not using plastic.
During the program, yoga teacher Jitin Sharma conducted yoga practice. He made all the members present practice Pranayama, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, Dhyan and Sankalp Yoga Asanas and told that regular practice of yoga reduces stress and keeps the body healthy.
On this occasion, Additional District and Sessions Judge Amit Kumar Garg, Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajpal Rawal, Senior Judge (Junior Division) Jaswinder Pal, besides Bar Association President PS Ghuman, Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Vishal Kumar Nanda, panel advocates, District Legal Services Authority officers, employees, judicial staff and lawyers on duty were present.
Along with this, Yoga Day was celebrated by judges, staff and lawyers on duty in Dasuha, Mukerian and Garhshankar and health benefits were derived. During the program, the judges also distributed saplings for the purpose of environmental protection.
