Providing information to the farmers present in this farmer awareness camp, Secretary of Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti Una, Bhupendra Singh Thakur said that in order to provide 100% benefit of the schemes to the farmer brothers and sisters of the country and to solve the problem faced every year in selling their crops, a scheme named e-Naam Registration was started by the Prime Minister, it is also known as the National Agricultural Market Scheme.
Farmers face problems every year like not getting a fair price for their crops, not getting money on time after selling through brokers, etc. Keeping all these things in mind, this scheme has been implemented. The e-NAM portal provides farmers the facility to sell their crops online.
National Agriculture Market e-NAM is a pan India electronic trading portal, which is an extension of the existing APMC Mandi in creating an integrated national market for agricultural produce. Through this portal, farmers can sell their crops online from anywhere and can receive payment for the sold crop directly in their bank account.
He told that through the e-NAM portal, farmers get more than one option for selling agricultural products. The farmer gets direct access to the warehouse, due to which he does not have to arrange for transportation to deliver the product to the market.
Through the e-NAM platform, wholesalers, processors, exporters etc. get the opportunity to directly participate in the local market / market, due to which the expenses of middlemen are reduced. In future, all the big mandis of the country will gradually come under e-NAM, as a result of which the processes of issuing licenses, levying fees and transporting products from one place to another will become uniform.
On this occasion, the farmers present also discussed the problems being faced in the mandi and asked questions about obtaining information about e-NAM. At the end of the program, food was also arranged for all the farmers present.
Information related to the e-Naam Yojana online registration portal was provided to the farmers in the vegetable market of Santoshgarh Municipal Council.
