Hoshiarpur:- Indian Dental Association Punjab and Women Dental Council Hoshiarpur organized Oral Cancer Awareness Seminar at District De-Addiction Rehabilitation Center Hoshiarpur under the chairmanship of Honorable Deputy Medical Commissioner Hoshiarpur cum Member Secretary and Dr. Smriti President IDA Hoshiarpur and in the presence of Dr. Jasleen Kaur Medical Officer District De-Addiction Rehabilitation Center Hoshiarpur.
On this occasion, Dr. Rashim Baruta, Dr. Sarita Agarwal, Dr. Jasleen Chawla, Dr. Anu Saini, Dr. Meenakshi Chandra, Dr. Charu Gulati, Dr. Gulveen were also present from Indian Dental Council Hoshiarpur. The counselor of this center, Prashant Adia, welcomed the team and told about the work of the center.
On this occasion, Dr. Rashim Bruta told about the Indian Dental Council on behalf of the Women Dental Council and explained in detail about the cancer awareness campaign.
On this occasion, Dr. Smriti President, giving information about the main symptoms of oral cancer, said that the main symptoms of oral cancer are persistent ulcers, red or white patches or sores, any lump or swelling in the mouth, difficulty in eating and drinking, loose teeth, persistent sore throat, ear pain, persistent taste difference, or hearing loss, weight loss etc. Therefore, we all need to be aware.
