New Delhi:- In the 'India' alliance meeting, the opposition has not only demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the education system, but has also taken a major decision to write a letter to the Chief Justice of India regarding the election procedures and Special Intensive Revision.
23 opposition leaders, excluding Aam Aadmi Party and Tamil Nadu-based parties such as DMK, participated in this meeting and took five decisions. The first decision was to agree to send a letter to the CJI regarding SIR, vote rigging and election rigging.
The alliance leaders, who addressed the press but did not take any questions, said, "The letter will be submitted to the CJI very soon."
They said that the central government should immediately call an all-party meeting to discuss the current critical economic situation, unemployment, inflation, farmers and other issues related to the people.
It was also agreed that all the parties in the 'India' alliance will meet every two months. The next meeting will be held in Hyderabad in August. Coordination will continue with daily morning meetings in the office of Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge during the monsoon session of Parliament.
