Chandigarh, July 16:- Haryana's Minister for Cooperation, Jails, Elections, Heritage and Tourism Dr. Arvind Sharma said that cleanliness is not just a campaign, but a collective responsibility of the citizens. Under the 'Welcome with cleanliness' campaign organized on Thursday at Gohana Railway Junction before the historic operation of the country's first hydrogen train, Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma started a special cleanliness campaign by sweeping the railway complex with his wife Dr. Rita Sharma and workers and gave a message of making the railway complex clean by doing shamdaan.
On this occasion, Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said that welcoming a guest has been the highest tradition in Indian culture. We clean our house every day, but when a special guest is about to come, we decorate the house with full enthusiasm and dedication. When the country's first hydrogen train reaches Gohana railway station for the first time on July 17, it will not be just the arrival of a train, but a golden moment in the history of modern India. In this spirit, a special cleanliness drive has been launched at the railway station today. Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is continuously setting new records in the field of green energy and modern technology. The operation of the country's first hydrogen train is the result of that visionary thinking. With this project, Gohana will not only get national but also global recognition and this city will become the new identity of modern and clean transport system. The Cooperation Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country's first eco-friendly hydrogen train from Jind on July 17. On this historic occasion, a grand eco-friendly rally will also be organized in Jind, in which a large number of people will participate. He said that there is unprecedented enthusiasm across the region for this indigenous, pollution-free and eco-friendly train and people are eager to witness this historic moment. Dr. Sharma called upon the citizens to make cleanliness not just a campaign but a part of their daily lifestyle. He said that a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy society and a developed nation. If every citizen takes a pledge to maintain cleanliness around him, then the goal of making the country clean and developed can be achieved even faster.
