Chandigarh, November 1 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the present government has made unique progress in employment creation for the youth and has provided opportunity for appointment in government services to 3 lakh youth on the basis of complete transparency in the last 11 years of its tenure. Out of these, 1,80,000 youth have been appointed on regular government posts, while 1,20,000 youth have been provided employment through Haryana Skill Employment Corporation. The Chief Minister said that the employees associated with Skill Employment Corporation have not only got employment, but their future security has also been ensured. This process is continuing continuously on the basis of transparency.
The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference organized here today on the occasion of Haryana Day. On this occasion, he also transferred an amount of Rs. 109 crore 65 lakh 40 thousand 200 in the accounts of 5,22,162 eligible women under the first installment of Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. The Chief Minister also launched the paperless registry system in the entire state. He said that with this new system, citizens will get relief from the old cumbersome procedures of registration, unnecessary delays will be eliminated and the possibilities of corruption will be completely curbed. The Chief Minister said that under the able guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the double engine government is continuously taking Haryana forward on the path of innovation, infrastructure and inclusive development. He said that under the double engine government, the pace of development in the state has doubled. The result of this is that the present state government has fulfilled 48 out of 217 promises of its Sankalp Patra in just one year, while work on 158 promises is in progress.
The Chief Minister said that this year, a three-day cultural festival is being organized on the occasion of Haryana Day, which was inaugurated by Governor Professor Asim Kumar Ghosh in Panchkula today. He said that a weekly book fair will also be organized from the upcoming Haryana Day.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the present state government has recently completed 11 years of public service. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the government is continuously working to realize the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. The Chief Minister said that respecting the talent of the youth, the interview process has been abolished in Group-C and Group-D recruitments. This recruitment transparency model of Haryana has become an example in the entire country today, which has been appreciated by the Prime Minister himself many times.
**Strong ecosystem of Ease of Doing Business has given impetus to industrial development
Chandigarh (Harminder Singh Nagpal) The Chief Minister said that the state government is emphasizing on skill development of the youth along with education in line with the new National Education Policy. A strong ecosystem of Ease of Doing Business has been prepared to give impetus to industrial development. In the last 11 years, 12,20,872 micro, small and medium enterprises have been registered in the state, as a result of which an investment of Rs 28,377 crore 59 lakh has been possible. He said that currently more than 9500 startups are working in the state and 19 unicorn companies are also in Haryana. It is clear from this that Haryana is writing a new definition of prosperity and there has been remarkable progress in infrastructure development.
**Farmer welfare is the priority of the government, procurement of all 24 crops in Haryana at MSP, payment ensured within 48 hours
Chandigarh (Harminder Singh Nagpal) Describing the welfare schemes being run by the state government in the interest of farmers, the Chief Minister said that farmer welfare is the center of the government's policies. Procurement of all 24 crops in the state is being done at MSP and payment is being ensured within 48 hours of selling the crop. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, compensation of Rs 15,627 crore has been given to farmers so far for crop damage.
**Government's commitment to mainstreaming the disadvantaged sections
Chandigarh (Harminder Singh Nagpal) The Chief Minister said that the present government has so far worked to empower the disadvantaged Scheduled Castes, which has ensured their participation in government jobs, Panchayats and local body elections. He said that many schemes have also been implemented for the welfare of the backward classes and the poor class.
**Many initiatives being taken towards empowering women
Chandigarh (Harminder Singh Nagpal) While mentioning many schemes regarding the empowerment of women, he said that under the Har Ghar Har Grihni Yojana, 14 lakh 50 thousand women of poor families are being provided gas cylinders at Rs 500 per month.
Apart from this, under the Namo Drone Didi scheme, 100 women have been trained in drone operation and provided free drones. This year, 100 more women are being given free drone training. So far, 2,13,000 women have been made Lakhpati Didi in the state.
