Chandigarh, September 7:- Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is continuously taking historic steps to make the state digitally empowered and equipped with cutting-edge technology. Haryana will soon be developed as a major Artificial Intelligence (AI) hub.
The Health Minister said that with the objective of strengthening e-governance and ensuring access to facilities for the last person, 25,201 Atal Seva Kendras have currently been registered in the state, of which 17,085 are successfully functioning in rural areas and 8,116 in urban areas. At the same time, 946 online services and schemes of 75 departments, boards and corporations are being made available to the general public from home through the Antyodaya Saral Portal.
She said that moving forward towards digital empowerment, Haryana has become the leading state in the country in adopting the central government's DigiLocker service, where 228 types of documents and certificates are currently easily available for digital verification.
Aarti Singh Rao said that the Lokayukta Portal is being operated to provide transparent services to the general public, and dedicated official websites for all districts of the state have been prepared. To strengthen digital connectivity in rural areas, 8,468 Wi-Fi hotspots have been installed in Gram Panchayats, while to speed up administrative functioning, work is being carried out through the 'e-Office' system in 44 departments of the state and in all districts.
Describing the prompt resolution of public grievances as the government's top priority, the Health Minister shared that a 'CM Window' has been launched at every district headquarters, through which more than 15.32 lakh complaints had been successfully resolved as of August 31, 2026. To monitor complaints received through social media and their resolution, the government has also developed a new in-house system called the 'Social Media Grievance Tracker'.
She further said that in addition to the above achievements, while protecting citizens' rights, a system has been established under which if an applicant does not receive a service within the prescribed time, their application automatically moves to the appellate authority. She reiterated that the Haryana Government is committed to ensuring a transparent, speedy and accountable governance system in the state through all these digital initiatives.
