Chandigarh, January 19:- The Sanskrit Cell of Haryana Sahitya and Sanskriti Akademi, Panchkula, organized a grand Sanskrit speech competition and an ideological seminar on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti today at the Maharaja Dahir Sen Auditorium located at the Academy Bhawan. The program presented ideas on important topics like education, culture and the role of youth.
In his speech, the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Academy, Dr. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri, inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, explained the concept of connect and connection in simple words and appealed to the youth to establish a strong connection with the society.
At the conclusion of the scholarly seminar, Dr. Chittaranjan Dayal Singh Kaushal, Director of Sanskrit Prakostha, thanked all the guests and stressed on the need to imbibe the philosophy of life of Swami Vivekananda Ji. Professor RK Deswal, Dr. Ramchandra, Dr. Ashutosh Angiras and Dr. Jitendra Arya participated as the keynote speakers in the program. 
Mahesh Sharma was awarded the first prize, Atul Sharma the second prize and Vaibhav Sharma the third prize for their excellent performance in the speech competition. Mandeep Kaur was honored with the Protsahan Puraskar.
