Chandigarh, June 2:- Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh extended his warm greetings and felicitations to the people of the state on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day and said that both Telangana and Haryana states are making significant contributions towards realising the vision of ‘Developed India 2047’.
The Governor was addressing the officers and members of the Telangana community at a programme organised on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day at Haryana Lok Bhawan here today. Senior officers and members of the Telangana community living in Haryana were present on the occasion.
Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh said that the formation of Telangana State on June 2, 2014 was a historic moment in fulfilling the democratic aspirations of lakhs of people. Since its formation, Telangana has emerged as one of the most dynamic and progressive states in the country and has achieved remarkable achievements in the fields of agriculture, information technology, infrastructure, education, healthcare and industrial development.
He said that the hard work, innovation and strong determination of the people of Telangana have made the state one of the leading contributors to the economic progress and technological development of the country. Telangana's development journey is not only inspiring but also reflects the strength of India's democratic and federal system.
Referring to the strong ties between Haryana and Telangana, the Governor said that despite geographical distance, both the states are connected by the common goal of inclusive development, welfare of farmers and youth and upliftment and progress of every citizen.
Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh expressed confidence that the people of Telangana will continue to achieve new achievements in the future and continue to contribute their invaluable contribution to the progress, prosperity and glory of the nation.
On this occasion, Haryana Chief Information Commissioner Shri T.V.S.N. Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Raja Shekhar Vundru, Additional Director General of Police (Human Rights and Litigation) Dr. C.S. Rao, Additional Director General of Police, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Dr. M.
