Chandigarh, May 7:- Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen health services in rural and remote areas of the state. In this direction, the Chief Minister has given in-principle approval to open two new health centers in village Khorikalan of Nuh district and village Khatodara of Mahendragarh district.
The Health Minister said that a sub-health center will be established in village Khorikalan and a primary health center (PHC) will be established in village Khatodara. With the opening of these health centers, thousands of people from nearby villages will be able to get better and timely health facilities.
He said that the aim of the state government is that every citizen should have access to quality health services near him, so that people do not have to go to distant cities for treatment. The new health centers will provide maternal and child health services, vaccination, treatment of common diseases, primary check-ups and essential medicines.
Aarti Singh Rao said that the Haryana government is continuously developing new hospitals, health centers and medical facilities to strengthen the health infrastructure. The government is giving priority to the expansion of health services in rural areas, so that the general public can get the benefit of better medical facilities.
He expressed confidence that with the opening of these new health centers, the access to health services in the rural areas of Nuh and Mahendragarh districts will be further strengthened and the people will get relief.
