Nawanshahr:- Halka Nawanshahr Incharge S. Jaspreet Singh Robi Kang launched a special cleaning campaign in the urban area of ??Nawanshahr today. This cleaning campaign will be run from August 29 to September 8. During this, various wards, parks, markets, main roads of the city will be cleaned.
On this occasion, he himself along with the sanitation workers visited various wards, markets and main roads of the city and reviewed the cleaning arrangements. The work of collecting garbage and cleaning drains was done by the municipal council employees with the help of various means.
On this occasion, S. Robi Kang said that no stone will be left unturned to make the city clean, green and beautiful. He said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to the all-round development of cities. He instructed the municipal council officials to continue this cleanliness drive continuously and ensure garbage collection on a daily basis. He also appealed to the city residents to cooperate with the administration in keeping the city clean and to throw garbage only at the designated places. Executive Officer Nawanshahr Manish was also present on this occasion.
