Ambala, February 18:- A gynecological OPD has been started today for the convenience of the public at Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Sewa Society Dukh-Bhanjani Charitable Polyclinic, Nahan House, Ambala city. Which was inaugurated by renowned social worker Engineer Balbir Singh. Society President TP Singh said that gynecologist Dr. Nidhi Gupta will provide her services in this clinic three days a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
He further said that Dr. Nidhi Gupta has earlier served in various institutions including Hinduja Hospital Mumbai and Civil Hospital Ambala city. Here she will examine patients three days a week from 10 am to 12 noon. Now various diseases related to women will be treated at the polyclinic.
Earlier, the members of the society welcomed renowned social worker Engineer Balbir Singh. After which Bhai Jagdeep Singh offered prayers. Engineer Balbir Singh then inaugurated the OPD by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, the Health Department also organized a free X-ray and TB testing camp, which was benefited by the public.
During the inauguration ceremony, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Sewa Society Chairman Manjit Singh, JP Singh, Mahinderpal Singh, Kanwarjit Singh Shelly, Tejinder Singh, JJ Singh, Amarjit Singh Bindra, Harbhajan Singh, Pritam Singh, Amarjit Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Kanwaljit Singh, Inderpal Singh and Kulwinder Kaur and Surinder Kaur from the women's wing were present.
Talking to the media on this occasion, the society's president TP Singh said that Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Sewa Society organizes medical camps, blood donation camps from time to time and also provides services like a vial, ambulance and a library at Gurdwara Manji Sahib. He further said that the society also helps the needy with ration, books and school fees.
Eye OPD, physiotherapy, dental OPD, general OPD, digital X-ray and all kinds of tests are being done at charitable rates at Dukh-Bhanjani Charitable Polyclinic.
