Haroli/Una, March 19 (Rajveer Chopra): Under the able leadership of BMO Dr. Shingara Singh, a grand health check-up camp was successfully organized at KC College Pandoga as part of the 'Ayushman Arogya Shivir' initiative. This camp was conducted through the joint efforts of the Haroli Health Department, the MP Mobile Health Service (Haroli), and the Sunrise NGO, under the guidance of CMO Dr. Sanjeev Verma and with the cooperation of DTO Dr. Vishal Thakur.
The primary objective of this health camp was to screen as many people as possible under the "TB-Free India Campaign" (TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) to ensure the timely detection and treatment of Tuberculosis (TB).
During the camp, comprehensive health check-ups were conducted for both students and college staff. On this occasion, various laboratory tests were performed alongside X-ray screenings. A large number of students participated in the event and lauded this initiative.
Additionally, health screenings were also conducted for the college's teaching and non-teaching staff, providing everyone with valuable insights into their current health status.
Members of the X-ray screening team—Gulshan Kumar, Deepak, Joginder, Rajesh, Satish, and Dharampal—played a pivotal role in making the camp a success. Furthermore, the cooperation extended by ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers was highly commendable.
The medical team, comprising Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Manish, Ruchi, Nihal Singh, and other health professionals, rendered their services during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, BMO Dr. Shingara Singh stated that the objective of such camps is to extend healthcare services to the general public and to realize the goal of a "TB-Free India" by ensuring the timely detection of TB and other serious ailments.
