Jalandhar:- The meeting of the Board of Trust of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee held today decided that like every year, the Foundation Day of the Ghadar Party will be celebrated on April 21 at 11 am in the Shaheed Vishnu Ganesh Pingle Hall built inside the local Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.
Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh, Convener of the Cultural Wing Amolak Singh said that in this ceremony, Assistant Secretary of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar will perform the flag hoisting ceremony and then address the function. Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Trustee Mangat Ram Pasla will be the main speaker of the function. He will deliver a short speech on the topic 'US-Israeli attack on Iran and Indian rulers'.

Today's meeting began with the heartbreaking deaths of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa (nephew of committee member Prithipal Singh Marimegha), well-known personality of the revolutionary movement Ranjit Lehra, senior leader of the democratic movement Vidhu Sekhar, leader of the rational movement Avtar Bai Canada, Manga Bassi poet Kamloops Canada, eminent linguist Dr. Ranjit Singh Bajwa, two brothers from the debt-ridden village of Hari Nau, Jaswinder Singh and Jaskaran Singh, who jumped in front of a vehicle and said goodbye to this world. The committee expressed deep sorrow over the heartbreaking deaths of all of them along with their families, relatives and colleagues.
