Chandigarh, August 25:- Haryana Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda chaired a review meeting of the officers of the Higher Education Department and the School Education Department at Haryana Niwas here today. During the meeting, the Minister issued several important guidelines to qualitatively improve the level of primary, secondary and higher education in the state and strengthen the infrastructure of educational institutions.
Comprehensive survey of basic facilities in schools completed
Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda said that a comprehensive survey of basic facilities in all government schools in the state has been completed. On the basis of this survey, the immediate needs and deficiencies of schools in every district have been accurately identified. On the basis of this data, development plans are now being prepared as per the need. The construction, renovation and other necessary works of school buildings are being completed on priority basis and the required money is being released for this without any delay.
Dual desks to be available in schools by November 2026
It was informed in the meeting that the process of purchasing dual desks has been started rapidly to provide better and comfortable classroom environment to the students in government schools of the state. Currently, the tender process is going on and the department aims to make dual desks available in all the target schools by November 2026.
250 CM-EEE schools to become 'model schools' of the state
The Minister said that 250 CM-EEE schools have been identified in the state. These schools, which are associated with the development process of PM-Shri schools, have been selected on the basis of strict criteria. Special 'school development plans' have been prepared for them, which will lead to unprecedented improvement in the learning environment, educational quality and infrastructure here. These will be established as leading model schools of the state.
Opportunity to learn foreign languages ??and expansion of 'Super 100'
The Minister said that with the support of the French Embassy, ??60 teachers have been trained and French language classes have been started in 26 government schools. At the same time, the training process is going on with the support of the German Embassy by selecting 80 teachers for German language. He said that the number of seats in the 'Super 100' program, which prepares bright students for competitive examinations like IIT and NEET, has been increased from 400 to 500. The process of setting up two of its offline centers has been successfully completed, due to which talented students will get better guidance for competitive examinations.
Empowerment of School Management Committee and Nipun Haryana Mission
SMC has been strengthened to ensure the participation of the local community and parents. Now development works up to Rs. 1 lakh can be done with the approval of the competent authority and basic works up to Rs. 25 lakh can be done through ADC. can be conducted with the approval of.
Along with this, under the Chief Minister's budget announcement, the 'Nipun Haryana Mission' has been extended up to Class 5. In the current year, it is being implemented up to Class 4. Students from Balvatika-3 to Class 4 have been digitally assessed through the 'Nipun Haryana Teacher App' and new textbooks will be developed according to the learning level of the children.
Strengthening of Higher Education and Government Colleges
The Education Minister directed the officials of the Higher Education Department to strengthen the infrastructure in all government colleges of the state and create such an environment that increases the enrollment of students in government colleges.
