Hisar:- A free eye surgery camp will be organized with a spirit of service on March 6 at the Divyang Rehabilitation and Health Centre, which has been setting an example in providing healthcare services. On the occasion of Holi, this camp will provide eye surgeries for 30 elderly persons suffering from white cataract. The operations will be performed by experienced and trained doctors. As far as possible, medicines will also be provided free of cost during the camp.
President of the Divyang Rehabilitation Centre, Dr. Roshanlal Goyal, Executive President CA Ramniwas Agarwal, and Secretary Mangeram Gupta informed that free eye surgery camps are regularly organized at the Bhavip Haryana Bharat Vikas Foundation Divyang Centre. Any needy person can take advantage of this camp. Any elderly person in need can register free of cost on any working day at the Divyang Centre located in Rishi Nagar near the bus stand.
They further stated that along with eye treatment facilities, dental treatment and physiotherapy services are also available at the Divyang Rehabilitation Centre. The Lala Devichand Grover Artificial Limb Manufacturing Unit is also available here, where artificial limbs are manufactured and provided free of cost to persons with disabilities. Modular artificial limbs are also manufactured here, and these modern artificial limbs are also provided free of charge to differently-abled individuals.
