Four members of a family consumed poison in Patiala father and daughter died condition of mother and son critical

Patiala, July 9:- Last night, four members of the Batish family of Officer Colony here consumed poisonous substance, out of which two died. The remaining two members are undergoing treatment at the local Rajindra Hospital but the condition of both is said to be critical. The deceased include father Vikas Batish (45), and daughter Khushi Batish (13), while the condition of mother Tamanna Batish (43) and son Kanav (11) remains critical.
DSP City-1 Sanjeev Singla has said that the initial investigation has revealed that there was a dispute over a domestic transaction. The police have sent the bodies of both the deceased for postmortem. According to reports, the condition of all the four members deteriorated after consuming the poison and people took them to Rajindra Hospital.
Vikas Batish and his daughter Khushi died during treatment. His wife Tamanna and son Kanav are still undergoing treatment but the condition of both is said to be serious.
