Hoshiarpur: Following consultations with the President of the Punjab SC Wing—former Minister Gulzar Singh Ranike—Shiromani Akali Dal President Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal has appointed former Cabinet Minister and Party General Secretary, Sohan Singh Thandal, as the National Senior Vice President of the party's SC Wing.
Expressing his gratitude to the party high command for this appointment, Sohan Singh Thandal stated that he would discharge the responsibility entrusted to him by the party with utmost dedication and diligence. He affirmed that he would work in coordination with party representatives and office-bearers to take the party's policies to every household, and would strive tirelessly to ensure the formation of a Shiromani Akali Dal government in the 2027 elections.
