Una, June 7: In a move to further strengthen health infrastructure in the Haroli Assembly constituency, the state government has granted administrative approval of ?8.42 crore for the construction of an additional 50-bed building at Civil Hospital, Haroli. This approval will facilitate the development of the necessary infrastructure to match the hospital's enhanced capacity.
It is worth noting that the capacity of Civil Hospital, Haroli, had previously been increased from 50 to 100 beds. The administrative approval for the additional 50-bed building will now accelerate the hospital's expansion and ensure better healthcare facilities for the local residents.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri stated that the state government is continuously working to strengthen health services in rural areas. Providing quality medical facilities to people close to their homes is among the government's top priorities. With this objective in mind, special emphasis is being placed on expanding and modernizing health infrastructure in the Haroli region.
The Deputy Chief Minister noted that several significant steps have been taken in recent years to strengthen healthcare facilities in the Haroli area. Modern health amenities and specialist medical services have been expanded at the hospital, and state-of-the-art X-ray and ultrasound facilities have been bolstered.
Shri Agnihotri added that the construction of the additional building would enhance the hospital's operational capacity, enabling the provision of more convenient and effective healthcare services to patients. He expressed confidence that this project would prove beneficial to the people of the region in the long run.
