Ambala, March 27- Reacting to the central government's cut in excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 10 each due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes full care of the people of the country in all situations.
Talking to reporters, he said that there is a war going on in the Gulf countries and to ensure that the people of the country do not face any difficulty due to this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reduced excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 10 each while oil prices have increased in the US, Pakistan and neighboring countries. The excise duty has been reduced here to ensure that the pockets of the people are not burdened.
Reacting strongly to the rumours of lockdown in India, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that anti-nationals, those playing into the hands of foreign powers are constantly trying to spread misinformation in the country. He said that our country has fought four or five wars but still lockdown was not imposed. Now this war is being fought about 5,000 kilometers away from India. These people are spreading such rumours only to mislead and scare the people and the people will respond to them. Regarding the shortage of LPG gas due to war, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that there is no shortage of LPG. Gas is being supplied in sufficient quantity. The people of Ambala Cantonment Science Industry faced some problem for which talks were held with higher authorities and instructions have been given to resolve it.
