Chandigarh, March 21:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that after the formation of the BJP government in Punjab under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, schemes will be implemented for the interests of all sections including women, farmers, laborers and youth on the lines of Haryana. Aam Aadmi Party is mired in corruption and has pushed Punjab backward in terms of development. Fed up with such a system, even officials are forced to give their lives, which is condemnable.
Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini was addressing a public meeting organized by young leader Rakesh Singh Gill in Banarasi village of Lehragaga, Punjab on Saturday. In this public meeting, Rakesh Singh Gill along with his supporters took the side of BJP in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Addressing the public meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that this area of ??Punjab was famous in the entire region for its grain markets and commercial activities. This is the land which has always raised its voice against injustice, but today it is sad to say that the land which gave economic strength to Punjab, today is losing its identity due to the negligence of the same government. He said that governments keep coming and going, but a government which forgets the basic needs of the people and gets lost in the glitter of advertisements has no moral right to remain in power. The Chief Minister mentioned the problem of poor health services, poor education system, dilapidated streets and closing industries of Lehragaga and said that the Aam Aadmi Party has only pushed this area into darkness by giving the slogan of change. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government had claimed that it would bring about a revolution by opening Mohalla clinics, but the truth is that even today, in case of serious illness, people here have to go to hospitals in Patiala, Ludhiana or Haryana. The most worrying issue is the youth power of Punjab falling prey to drugs. Investment is not coming due to the poor law and order situation in Punjab, due to which Punjab is continuously lagging behind.
Mentioning the welfare policies of the Haryana government, Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that Haryana is a strong example of the tradition of development, trust and decisive governance that has been established in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Haryana has proven that when there is a government with the same mindset at the Centre and the state, the pace of development accelerates many times.
Mentioning the 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana', the Chief Minister said that under this scheme, Rs. 850 crore has been given to ten lakh sisters in five installments. Today, 24 crops are being purchased in Haryana at MSP, which is being paid to the farmers within 48 hours. The Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab had shown dreams to the farmers, but the farmers of Punjab are feeling cheated today.
Attacking the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab, Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the Punjab government is only blaming the Central Government to hide its failures. While it has failed to arrange fertilizers and medicines for the farmers, it has also failed to make any proper arrangements for the purchase of the crop. Along with this, no work has been done for stubble management, whereas in Haryana, farmers are given financial assistance for stubble management.
The Chief Minister said that there has been huge corruption in Punjab in the implementation of MGNREGA, in which no action has been taken till date. Instead of taking steps in the interest of the workers, the government here brought a resolution in the Vidhan Sabha on September 30, which had no figures, no facts and no suggestions. This was a complete attack on the interests of the workers.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that 44 lakh people in Haryana are taking the benefit of social security pension. This has also been increased recently, but the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab has shown its patience here too and has not increased the old age pension in the last budget.
The Chief Minister alleged that AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal takes the goods from here to Delhi, while the people of Punjab are yearning for development. He said that the country and the state do not need a laboratory, but an experienced and responsible government. This land of Gurus teaches us that standing against injustice is the true religion.
He said that the doors of his house are open 24 hours for the common people of Punjab. They can come and meet him anytime. The public should resolve that they will show the way out to the current government of Punjab in the upcoming assembly elections. On this occasion, a large number of people including Haryana Chief Minister's Political Secretary Tarun Bhandari, Sangrur BJP District President Daman Bajwa, former Chairman Mahinder Singh Gill, Zila Parishad Vice President Rajrani Gill were present.
