Bahadurgarh:- S. Sukhdev Singh, Principal of Panth Ratan Gurcharan Singh Tohra Institute of Advanced Studies in Sikhism, Bahadurgarh, stated that Gurus, prophets, and noble human beings made wartime-level efforts for the welfare of all, environmental balance, and the preservation of nature, food, and water. He emphasized that to carry forward their humanitarian work, we must acquire training in civil defense, first aid, CPR, and fire safety according to present-day conditions, so that precious lives and properties can be saved during crises. 
On this occasion, Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Chief Trainer of the First Aid, Safety, and Health Awareness Mission and retired Red Cross Training Officer, explained that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji created 'Saint-Soldiers' by instilling humanity in youth to help everyone. 
He added that during wars and disasters, Bhai Ghanaiya Ji initiated water and first aid services to save wounded soldiers and citizens, a mission that continues globally today through Red Cross organizations where students and citizens become helping angels after receiving training.
Kaka Ram Verma requested the heads of educational institutions to provide students with training in disaster management, civil defense, first aid, CPR, and fire safety. In view of the rising heatwaves, he gave practical training on preventing fires and handling medical emergencies like cholera, dehydration, sunstroke, brain hemorrhage, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, and fainting. He explained the types of fires, the fire triangle (oxygen, heat, and fuel), and demonstrated how to use water, soil, and fire extinguishers. 
Program In-charge S. Sandeep Singh, along with other teachers and students, expressed gratitude and noted that since emergency services are often not immediately available during more than 90% of accidents, trained youth can effectively prevent physical and financial losses. The institute, which offers scholarships, hostel facilities, and free education to its students, also honored Mr. Kaka Ram Verma for his selfless dedication to preparing the youth as helping angels for the welfare of all.
