Patiala:- The Dedicated Brothers Group (DBG) honored NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, and Civil Defense warriors who, after receiving training in First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, and Disaster Management, are now raising awareness among their peers. Dr. Rakesh Verma (President), Harpreet Singh Sandhu (Secretary), and Dr. Rishma Kohli stated that the ongoing wars and the development of destructive nuclear, atomic, and chemical weapons are capable of causing catastrophic destruction to humanity. They urged that national wealth and human rights should not be misused for the production of weapons of mass destruction, driven by hatred and revenge. Instead, knowledge, duties, and strength should be used to make Mother Earth beautiful, clean, and fertile.
The DBG honors these "helping angels" every month and provides training in Disaster Management, First Aid, and Fire Safety to protect humanity and the environment. On this occasion, Disaster Management Trainer Kaka Ram Verma highlighted that many nations are misusing their wealth, scientists, doctors, and industrial infrastructure to produce weapons, which leads to the deaths of innocent civilians, soldiers, animals, and the destruction of forests, rivers, and mountains.
He emphasized that these resources—national wealth, factories, and human expertise—could instead be used to provide health, well-being, security, prosperity, employment, and a peaceful environment for people. He warned that the thousands of atomic and chemical bombs and missiles, built with billions of dollars, will only lead to the ruin of the Earth, from which survival would be nearly impossible.
