Hoshiarpur: Former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader Tikshan Sood stated that a special meeting of the District Yoga Association was held today at his residence, presided over by the Association's President, Mr. Tikshan Sood. Executive committee members—including Anil Sud, Umesh Oberoi, Pramod Sood, Neerja Bij, Sumit Kumar, Vijay Thakur, and Anita Jaiswal—participated in the meeting.
Following the meeting, it was unanimously decided that the District Yoga Association would celebrate International Yoga Day this year on June 21 at 6:30 AM at the local Shakti Mandir. Yoga Guru Anita Jaiswal mentioned that approximately 500 people are expected to attend the event to practice yoga.
Mr. Sood noted that the District Yoga Association has been celebrating this day with great enthusiasm for the past 12 years. Certificates will be awarded to participants by the Association, and he appealed to the city's residents to participate in the event in large numbers.
