Una, March 13: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will be on a visit to Una district from March 14 to 17. During this period, in addition to participating in various events, he will also inspect ongoing development works in the region.
According to the scheduled itinerary, the Deputy Chief Minister will attend the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony organized at Prof. Simmi Agnihotri Government Degree College, Haroli, as the Chief Guest at 11:00 AM on March 14. Subsequently, in the evening, he is scheduled to depart for District Sirmour, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various developmental projects on March 15.
Thereafter, on March 16, the Deputy Chief Minister will return to Una district and participate as the Chief Guest in the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony organized at Government Degree College, Beetan, at 12:00 PM.
On March 17 at 10:00 AM, the Deputy Chief Minister will inaugurate the SDRF Training Center—which has been relocated to the Skill Development Institute building—situated at Palakwah Khas within the Haroli subdivision. On this occasion, a community awareness program aimed at enhancing public awareness regarding disaster management will also be organized at the Palakwah Auditorium. During the program, Master Trainers from the State Disaster Response Force will apprise participants of various aspects related to disaster management, earthquake and fire safety, and effective response mechanisms during emergency situations.
Practical demonstrations related to disaster prevention and relief operations will also be conducted during the event. Following this, the Deputy Chief Minister will inspect various ongoing development works in the region and hold a review meeting with officials. He is scheduled to depart for Shimla on the evening of March 17.
