Una, March 16 (Paigam-E-Jagat):- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today (Monday) laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Samnal to Pubowal Chowk via Baliwal road link, situated within the Haroli Assembly constituency. Industries Minister Harshvardhan Singh Chauhan was also specially present on this occasion.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that approximately ?15.25 crore will be expended on this project, which will significantly strengthen the region's road network. He noted that the Samnal to Pubowal Chowk via Baliwal road directly connects to the Haroli Industrial Corridor, thereby greatly enhancing its utility. The strengthening of this road will facilitate smoother movement for industrial activities and provide the local populace with improved connectivity.
He affirmed that the state government is committed to ensuring better and more robust road connectivity for its citizens. Various developmental projects are currently being implemented in the Haroli Assembly constituency to reinforce roads, bridges, and other infrastructural facilities; these initiatives are accelerating the region's development and bringing about positive changes in the people's standard of living.

*Industries Minister Inspects Under-Construction Bulk Drug Park Project in Polian; Directs Officials to Expedite Work*
Following the groundbreaking ceremony for the road project, Industries Minister Harshvardhan Singh Chauhan inspected the under-construction Bulk Drug Park project in Polian to assess the progress of the construction work. He reviewed the ongoing land-leveling operations at the project site and obtained detailed information regarding the work from the concerned officials.
After the inspection, the Industries Minister held a meeting with officials from the Public Works, Jal Shakti (Water Resources), Electricity, and Forest Departments, as well as representatives from Single India Private Limited, to discuss various aspects of the project in detail. He directed officials to expedite construction activities and ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, he issued instructions to swiftly conclude the tendering process associated with the project.
The Industries Minister stated that the State Government is continuously striving to accelerate industrial development within the state, and ambitious projects such as the Bulk Drug Park will play a pivotal role in strengthening the state's economy. He added that the realization of this project would provide a new direction to industrial growth in the region and generate fresh employment opportunities for local youth.
