Lambi- Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's former OSD Onkar Singh Sidhu has demanded at least 15 days extra time for the physical test of Punjab Police recruitment due to the peak of dengue fever in the state. It is worth mentioning that the physical test of Punjab Police recruitment is being held from October 11 to 17.
He has appealed to the Punjab government and DGP Punjab Police through a post on his X handle today that candidates involved in the current police recruitment process cannot give the physical test (physical test) due to illness or dengue. Sidhu said that these candidates should be given at least 15 days extra time as for many candidates this may also be the last chance for recruitment.
Sidhu advised the government that such opportunities have been given by previous governments in special circumstances. It is worth mentioning that many candidates for police recruitment are currently suffering from fever or dengue, due to which they cannot participate in the race etc. Apart from the former OSD, other people have also supported this reasonable demand so that no eligible candidate is harmed in the future.
