SAS Nagar, June 30- Farmer leaders Baljinder Singh Bhago Majra, Kuldeep Singh Poonia, Sarpanch Gurchand Singh Poonia, Kuldeep Singh Bonda, Ravinder Singh Ravi etc. have demanded that uninterrupted power supply be provided from Lakhnaur and Sawara grids.
The leaders said that power supply from these grids has been stalled for the last three-four days, due to which farmers are facing problems in sowing paddy. He said that the government is unable to provide power supply. He demanded that the supply of 8 to 10 motors falling in Bhago Majra and Maujpur be connected to Raipur Kalan grid.
He said that the process of changing this supply has also been completed, but the supply has not been changed till now. The leaders demanded that the power supply should be made uninterrupted in view of the paddy season.
