Santokhgarh/Una, April 23 (Rajveer Chopra):— In light of the rising temperatures, the demand for providing a cold water facility at the Santokhgarh bus stand has begun to gain momentum. Talwinder Singh, a resident of Ward No. 4, has raised this crucial demand with the Municipal Council in the public interest.
Making an appeal, he stated that proper arrangements for cold drinking water should be made for passersby and out-of-town travelers at both the new and old bus stands in Santokhgarh. He noted that passengers are facing severe hardships due to the scorching heat, and the lack of water facilities at public places—such as the bus stand—means people are unable to find any relief.
Talwinder Singh has urged the Municipal Council administration to take concrete steps in this direction as soon as possible so that passengers may find relief from the heat.
Meanwhile, local residents also share the view that a cold water facility at the bus stand is absolutely essential. This would not only provide relief to passengers but also directly benefit the general public.
