New Delhi:- Pollution in Delhi-NCR is continuously increasing. On Thursday, Delhi's Air Quality Index was 506, which falls in the hazardous category. In a live ranking by IQ Air, an international organization that measures air pollution across the world, Delhi was considered the most polluted city in the world. Due to rising air pollution, the Delhi government has banned sports events in all schools in November and December.
Earlier, on October 18, the Supreme Court had ordered against sports events in Delhi schools due to pollution in Delhi-NCR. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh has been experiencing severe cold for the last 15 days.
In the last 24 hours, the temperature in 12 cities, including Bhopal and Indore, fell below 10 degrees. The lowest temperature was recorded in Rajgarh at 7.5 degrees. Dense fog engulfed Jabalpur. Cold wave warning has been issued for Indore, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Shajapur and Sehore on Friday.
The temperature in Badrinath in Uttarakhand is below minus 6 degrees Celsius. Fog remains in the plains in the morning. Meteorologists have predicted that the weather in the state will remain like this for the next few days, more snowfall is expected.
