Chandigarh, December 23:- Under the Haryana Contract Employees (Service Security) Rules, 2025, a dedicated portal named www.securedemployee.csharyana.gov.in will be launched for online registration and disposal of cases of contract employees. The portal will be inaugurated on the occasion of Good Governance Day on December 25.
A letter in this regard has been issued by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi.
According to the letter, with the aim of ensuring transparency, accuracy and uniformity in the process of providing service security benefits to contract employees, now all cases will be disposed of only through online. No physical application or offline orders of any kind will be accepted nor will they be considered valid.
Contractual employees will have to register and upload all the necessary documents on the portal by January 31, 2026. After this, the service record will be verified by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) by February 28, 2026. The Finance Department will create supernumerary posts for eligible employees by March 31, 2026, while the final approval and service security proposal letters from the concerned Department Heads will be issued by April 30, 2026. All Administrative Secretaries, Department Heads, Managing Directors of Boards and Corporations, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners have been directed to ensure strict adherence to the stipulated deadline. Accountability will be fixed for any delay or lack of compliance.
