Una, October 9th - CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Awareness Week will be observed in Una district from October 13th to 17th. This program is being organized by the District Red Cross Society, Una, under the auspices of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and in accordance with the directives of the Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society throughout the district.
District Red Cross Society Secretary and CPO, Sanjay Sankhyan, stated that during this period, CPR training camps will be organized in various government colleges in the district, providing participants with practical training in life-saving techniques. The objective of this campaign is to enable youth to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations.
He stated that Chief Medical Officer, Una, Dr. S.K. Verma, has issued orders to deploy doctors for CPR training. As per the scheduled programme, Dr Chetan Modgil will provide CPR training at Government Degree College Una on 13th October, Dr Ashok Kumar at ABV Government Degree College Bangana on 14th October, Dr Ingit Parmar at Dr Simmi Agnihotri Government Degree College Haroli on 15th October, Dr Rupinder Sharma at Maharana Pratap Government Degree College Amb on 16th October and Dr Vinay Kumar at Government Degree College Daulatpur Chowk on 17th October.
The Secretary of the District Red Cross Society has requested all the concerned college principals to ensure successful organization of these training camps in their respective institutions and to send the report of the participants to the office after completion of the training.
