Chandigarh, July 25:- Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the Congress has no real issue left today. This is the reason why it is engaged in doing cheap politics in the name of youth. He said that the Congress, which has been in power for a long time, should first give an account of its rule and how much unemployment, corruption and irregularities in recruitment processes the youth had to face during that time.
The Chief Minister was talking to media personnel after the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram on Saturday.
The Chief Minister said that during the Congress rule, there was open fraud in jobs and in many cases the courts had to intervene and stop the recruitment processes. The Congress played with the future of the youth during its tenure, while today the same party is doing politics in the name of the youth. He said that the leaders of the Congress and the Indi alliance have no concrete issue left to take to the public, so they are trying to mislead the youth. Referring to the recent Excise Inspector recruitment in Punjab, Mr. Saini said that allegations of serious irregularities have come to light in the recruitment process there. He said that such cases are a great injustice to the youth and the Congress should first question them.
The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that he thanked him for giving the future of the youth the highest priority and taking strong and far-sighted decisions in the Union Cabinet. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Central Government and the Haryana Government are working with full commitment to make the future of the youth secure and bright. In the last 12 years, many historic steps have been taken to make the youth self-reliant and provide more employment opportunities. He asked the Congress to also give an account of the work done in the interest of the youth during its long rule before the public.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a clear message that no person or institution will be spared who tampers with the future of the youth. He said that a major action has also been taken in the National Testing Agency (NTA) and strict steps have been taken against many officials. The government's intention is clear that no compromise will be made with the future of the youth.
