Patiala- Following the orders of the Punjab Government, disaster management, civil defense, first aid, fire safety trainings for the security, rescue, help, respect, prosperity of our nation and humanity are extremely important to reduce precious life and property losses in the future and to save the victims because natural and man-made disasters, wars, drugs and increasing diseases of heart, brain, lungs, liver cancer are destroying humanity every day.
These views were expressed by Harish Kumar Chandan, Principal of Government Model Senior Secondary School Chonagra, while honoring Shri Kaka Ram Verma during the trainings and mock drills conducted by Shri Kaka Ram Verma, Disaster Management Trainer of the Government of India.
On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Lavkesh Kumar, Madam Rajinderpal Kaur and Yuges Kumar said that under Operation Sandhur, to save precious lives during wars, disasters, it is necessary for everyone to be prepared by forming 10 types of teams. Wars and disasters are causing huge destruction in many countries of the world.
Therefore, Shri Kaka Ram Verma should be called from Patiala and various practical volunteers should be organized so that he can become the guardian of his country in times of crisis, form teams of people and youth in his area like NDRF and Army personnel for the protection, rescue and help of humanity, and make proper efforts like a helping angel.
Shri Kaka Ram Verma said that more than 80% of the deaths of children, youth and citizens are due to sudden disasters, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, unconsciousness accidents. The deaths can be prevented only by conducting trainings, exercises and mock drills, by educating the youth. Since Punjab is a border area, it is necessary for every citizen to undergo training.
