Patiala:- A special camp was organized at Punjab Police Commandos Training Center Bahadurgarh Fort to provide training to commandos on disaster management, civil defense, first aid, CPR, fire safety, use of cylinders. DSP Shri Hardeep Singh Badungar said that on this occasion, Disaster Management, First Aid Trainer Shri Kaka Ram Verma told the commandos that disasters are coming in natural, seasonal and human-made ways.
Small disasters are coming every day in homes, institutions, roads, factories and causing loss of life and property, while wars and natural seasonal disasters are destroying thousands, lakhs of lives and properties in large numbers. They formed 10 disaster management teams of commandos and conducted various practicals and conducted demonstrations of rescue transport first aid CPR.
Former Fire Officer Jatinderpal Singh gave training on water, soil, fire extinguishing and use of 4 types of cylinders according to the types of fires. ASI Ram Saran Traffic Education Cell explained the importance of National Road Safety Awareness Month and requested that along with themselves, family members and others should be encouraged to follow traffic rules, laws, principles and duties. On this occasion, NCC cadets and officer Sachna Sharma of Veer Haqiqat Rai School supported during the practical. DIG cum Commandant Gurpreet Singh honored the subject experts who came. Inspector Palwinder Singh thanked them and said that considering the current situation, every student, citizen and employee should come forward to take training in disaster management, civil defense, first aid, CPR, fire safety.
