Chandigarh, April 9:- Haryana Chief Minister on Thursday conducted a high-level review meeting online from all districts and reviewed the progress of Samadhan Shivs being run across the state in detail. During this, he directly heard the complaints of citizens associated with different districts and directed the concerned officials to resolve them promptly and effectively.
Samadhan Shivs are organized in the offices of Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Officers in all the districts of the state every Monday and Thursday. Citizens present their problems in these Shivs. Complaints which can be resolved on the spot are immediately disposed of, while the remaining cases are ensured to be resolved within 7 to 15 days. It is noteworthy that under this campaign, which started on June 10, 2024, about one and a half lakh complaints have been received across the state so far, out of which about 78 percent of the complaints have been successfully resolved.
In today's meeting, the Chief Minister established direct communication with the citizens of various districts through online to get information about their problems and directed the officials to resolve the pending cases on priority basis at the earliest. Along with this, he also reviewed the pending cases of the years 2024, 2025 and 2026 and gave clear instructions to ensure immediate resolution of all the complaints.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister took strict action on the absence of officers in some districts. Taking the absence of concerned officers in Mahendragarh district and SDM office Badshahpur seriously, the Chief Minister directed all the Deputy Commissioners and SDMs to be personally present in the Samadhan Shivrans and listen to the problems of the citizens.
The Chief Minister said that the weekly review meeting of the Samadhan Shivrans is organized every Friday, which should be chaired by the concerned Deputy Commissioner. Action should be taken against the officers who have been absent from the review meetings regularly. The Chief Minister clarified that the officers should personally chair the meetings and personally monitor the resolution of pending complaints.
The Chief Minister said that the aim of the state government is to ensure time-bound, transparent and effective resolution of the problems of the citizens. Any negligence in this direction will not be tolerated.
