Hoshiarpur: On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, observed on July 1st, Hoshiarpur Civil Surgeon Dr. Mandeep Kamal extended heartfelt greetings to all government and private doctors, program officers, senior medical officers, medical officers, dentists, specialists, staff nurses, ANMs, multipurpose health workers, community health officers, ASHA workers, and all healthcare personnel in the district. He noted that the selfless service rendered by doctors and all healthcare workers during emergencies, pandemics, natural disasters, and other health crises has always been a source of inspiration for society. He mentioned that National Doctors' Day is celebrated in India every year on July 1st to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy—a renowned physician, educator, social reformer, and former Chief Minister of West Bengal. This day is dedicated to honoring the selfless service, dedication, and invaluable contributions of doctors to the healthcare sector.
