Hoshiarpur: Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur, Dr. Balvir Kumar, conducted a surprise visit to the Aam Aadmi Clinics at Naloiya Chowk, Baghpur, Drainage Office, and Canal Colony to inspect the health services being provided to patients. The main objective of this inspection was to check the functioning of the clinics, staff attendance, and the quality of facilities provided to the patients.
During the inspection, Dr. Balvir Kumar thoroughly examined patient records, OPD arrangements, medicine stock in the pharmacy stores, hygiene, and basic facilities at the clinics. PA Satpal was also present on this occasion.
The Civil Surgeon checked the attendance of all the staff on duty and instructed them to be punctual, perform their duties with complete honesty and dedication, and treat patients with courtesy and respect.
He specifically inspected the pharmacy stores and instructed that all necessary medicines should be available at all times so that no patient faces any inconvenience due to a shortage of medicines.
During this visit, he instructed the staff to strictly follow the rules related to the proper disposal of biomedical waste and warned that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
Dr. Balvir Kumar said that the main objective of the Aam Aadmi Clinics is to provide high-quality, free, and accessible healthcare services to the poor, needy, and common people. He appealed to the staff to treat every patient with compassion and fulfill their responsibilities with complete dedication in all kinds of emergency situations.
